Penny

Penny is learning to follow me as I walk around. This is the foundation for leash walking, recall and off leash skills. If she stops, I keep walking off, reinforcing her when she catches up. This teaches her to keep track of me, rather than the other way around. This can only be taught to young puppies, before they become independent teenagers.

Penny had a successful first week. She made new friends, began getting acclimated to grooming, started the foundation for several behaviors and worked on chewing toys and house training. Spend lots of time this weekend playing with her with her chew toys (see below), tether her often and keep your eyes on her so she doesn't have any accidents.
